Modified Piper Cub - Krister Lindblad - Eskilstuna, Sweden
280KB This aircraft is a slightly modified version of the Piper J-3 Cub included with the RealFlight Add-on Volume One. The modifications are changed main wing profile and also changed incidence of the main wing and horizontal tail. I find that this gives the J-3 somewhat smoother handling characteristics, especially during takeoff and landing.

Kyosho Trainer 40 - Mats Bjerin - Stockholm, Sweden
285KB The aircraft is based on the PT-40 model included with Real Flight G2 (no add-ons needed) but has been modified quite a lot to reflect the different characteristics of the Kyosho Trainer 40. I have also added a new color scheme based on digital photographs of my own plane. The real world aircraft is an ARF (Almost Ready To Fly) model intended for beginner pilots. The curved underside of the main wing gives it a slightly faster profile which prevents sudden jumps in turbulent air. The large airframe still makes it very sensitive to headwinds though. Still the real world model is a great beginners airplane as it is easy to repair and reasonably forgiving.
