El Toro Field - Wade Kloos -
174KB
El Toro MCAS, home of the Orange County Modelers' Association. Main runway (700' or so) runs East to West, with prevailing winds from the West. Irvine Blvd. lies to the North, equestrian pasture to the East, bleachers and pits to the South and hangers/tree line to the West - just like the real deal. The virtual pylons are there for fun - online racing anyone? Fly through the West hanger and see something cool. The farmland is not really there but it is flat like El Toro. Photo is looking West.

Sac Red Baron's - Mark A. LaCoste -
207KB
This is the newest version of our flying site. The large buildings at the north end are the county recycling center and the hills to the east are the land fill. We recently moved to the east side of the runway to prevent flying over the land fill and its access road. I hope you have as much fun flying here as we do.
