Fokker DR-1 - Black Baron - John P. Hansen - Madison, WI
284KB This trim scheme is based on Fokker Dr.I 450/17, piloted by Ltn. Josef Jacobs (1894-1978), in Jasta 7, 1918. Josef Jacobs was Germany's leading Dr.I ace with over 41 victories to his credit. The aircraft was fitted with a captured Clerget engine and undercarriage airfoil reinforcement developed by Jasta Boelcke ground crews.

284KB This *.TGA file of the F4-U Corsair is based on a number of photos of my father (then a USMCR Captain) over North Korea. Even the mottled paint job reflects the tough duty these old warbirds performed during the Korean War.
